iPeng Webclip for iPhone/iTouch Firmware 1.1.3

Here’s a new feature for iPeng fans: get Coolio as an icon onto your iPhone desktop.
You could already do that on a jailbroken phone/pod using iPhone Apper, but with Apple’s 1.1.3 firmware it works right out of the box. All you need to do is: install iPeng 0.3.4 (note: this is the only difference to 0.3.3). If you load the iPeng homepage now, you can add a webclip using the little “+” on the lower Safari control bar (between the “forward” and “bookmarks” icons). It will show a nice Coolio icon and you don’t have to use a bookmark anymore to access your server.

Hi, thanks for the great work. I only have 1 problem. I can’t find a download for Squeezecenter 7 anywhere. On the Slimdevices page there’s only SlimServer 6.5!!!!
Help, cause now I’m stuck with the “Touch” interface on the slimserver. Which isn’t half as nice!!!!

Look here
http://www.slimdevices.com/downloads/nightly/latest/7.0/
The 7.0 version is the current “release client” 7.0 version which should be quite stable, the 7.0.1 is the latest beta version.

Thanks. Found it. But there’s no installer included in the zip file. Do I just copy it over my current installation?

I recommend to use the .EXE for Windows instead of the .ZIP file.

Hi!
I’m planning on buying a LINN Digital Stream player (http://linn.co.uk/akurate_ds) that unfortunately works best with Twonky Media (http://www.twonkyvision.com/Products/TwonkyMedia/index.html) instead of Squeezecenter. I really love the looks and features of iPod Touch and iPeng. Is there any way of making iPeng support TwonkyMedia as well?

I have installed latest version of SqueezeCenter on (Windows XP) & iPeng on my PC. When I try to connect with my iPod Touch (1.0.0.4 – I think) using Safari (tried both IP addressed as suggested in installation manual) program just hangs for a very…very long time. Have navigated to URP on PC successfully using Firefox on the PC.
iPod touch is new.
Any ideas?
